Quick Start
We’re excited for you to start using tamato to achieve maintenance excellence!
This guide walks through setting up your account, configuring your first assets, and work requests, work orders configure users, and more — with tamato. After you’ve followed these steps, reach out to the tamato's team with any questions you have.
Account Set Up
If you don't have an account yet, you will need to create an account before you can get started.
Once the account has been created you will need to confirm the registration via email.

Account Name (required)
The unique name of your tamato account. This name is used to generate your workspace URL (e.g. yourcompany.tamato.io).
Best practice: Use your company or organization name.
First Name (required)
Your given name. This will be used to personalize your user profile and communication.
Last Name (required)
Your family name. Together with your first name, this identifies you within the tamato workspace.
Email (required)
Your email address. This email is used for account verification, login, and important notifications.
Getting Your Team Started
tamato allows you to manage who can access your workspace and what they are allowed to do. Users are managed centrally from the Users section.

tamato offers you two options to add users to your workspace:
Manage Your Account & Billing Settings
The Workspace Settings section allows you to manage your workspace details, subscription plan, and billing information. It is typically accessed by admins and contains two main tabs:

Start Adding Assets
Assets in tamato gives your team a single, reliable source of truth for asset data. By structuring assets correctly, organizations improve maintenance planning, traceability, and decision-making.
