3. Step-by-Step Instructions
To create a new Team in tamato:
Navigate to Teams
Click Add New Team

Fill in the required fields:
a. Name – give the team a clear title (required)
b. Select Users – choose the users that should be part of the team
c. Description – describe the purpose of the team (optional)
Click Create

The team is created and becomes available for assignments.
4. Field Explanations
Name (required)
The name of the team.
Best practice: Use functional names such as “Maintenance Team”, “Electrical Team”, or “Night Shift”.
Users (required)
The members assigned to the team.

5. What Happens After Submission
After submission:
The team appears in the Teams list
The team can be selected when assigning Work Orders and Preventive Maintenance
All assigned users are treated as responsible for team-assigned work
No notifications or approvals are triggered by default
Teams can be updated at any time to add or remove members.
6. Permissions & Roles
Permissions depend on user roles:
Admins and Maintenance Managers can create, edit, and delete teams
Technicians can view teams they belong to
Other users may have view-only access depending on configuration
Users without sufficient permissions cannot modify team structures.
